03 / FABRIC & FIT

Choose fabric and fit with a clear purpose.

The right starting point depends on where it will be worn, how it should feel and how the artwork will be applied.

01

Cotton and cotton-rich directions

Compare classic cotton with softer jersey constructions for tees. The base fiber, knit, weight and fit all affect the feel; a heather color may have a different blend from a solid in the same style.

02

Fleece and layering

For hoodies and sweatshirts, compare inside feel, face fabric and how the garment layers. Weight alone does not tell the whole story. Check the actual sample and measurements.

03

Performance fabrics

For active settings, review the specific product’s moisture-management and care information. Polyester and stretch fabrics also need compatible decoration and testing.

04

Outerwear and caps

Check a shell’s coating, lining and claimed weather performance individually. On caps, crown shape, seams and closure affect both the fit and the decoration area.
